Tumut Shire Council is committed to working with the community to set the future direction of our Council. The benefits of community consultation are that different views and priorities can be voiced and local expertise, knowledge and experiences of our residents utilised. Council values the ideas, comments and contributions that residents within our Shire make.
There are a number of mediums through which council advertises that Council's policies, plans or strategies are on public exhibition for comment. This webpage is just one. We also advertise on the radio and in the Tumut and Adelong Times and a hard copy of documents that are on public exhibition are placed in every Shire library.
We want residents to be actively involved in the future direction of Council and welcome your feedback.

Council is committed to providing a high level of Customer Service in all areas. To assist us in knowing where we are doing a great job or where we can improve, we have developed a Customer Service Feedback form.
We are looking for all feedback from our happy customers and also customers believing we can improve our level of service they have received.
The more feedback forms Council receive, the better we can gauge the true level of service that we are providing our customers.
If you'd like to provide feedback on your experience, please click the link below.
From time to time we will be conducting consultation through online surveys. The surveys will include ten questions with the majority being multiple choice answers along with a comments field for you to provide further detail if required. Please note that you are required to be succinct with your comments as the text field only allows limited characters. If you would like to provide further detail than the survey allows please email your query/suggestion to firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be forwarded to the appropriate officer.
