The Community Appreciation Awards are a Council initiative that allows people within the community to nominate an individual or group for their contribution to the community in areas such as health, education, sport, youth, tourism or enhancement of the environment.
Tumut Shire Council recognises the value of community spirit and the importance of showing a genuine appreciation of the tireless workers, the quiet achievers, the motivators and the individuals who are often involved in a number of different projects at the one time.
If you believe you know a worthy recipient of a Community Appreciation Award, you are encouraged to make a nomination. Nominations can be made all year round by using the form below.
